| - Threshold ist ein englisches Plattenlabel. Es wurde als exklusives Label mit Studio in Cobham (Surrey) von der Gruppe The Moody Blues im Jahr 1969 nach der Veröffentlichung ihres Albums On the Threshold of a Dream gegründet.Bis 1976 wurden 21 Alben, vor allem Konzeptalben, der Band und aus ihrem musikalischen Umfeld veröffentlicht. Das Label gehörte zu London Records. In Deutschland wurde Threshold bei Teldec vertrieben. (de)

- Threshold Records is een Brits platenlabel. Het is opgericht door de Moody Blues om meer vrijheid te krijgen bij hun opnamen en hoesontwerpen. Vooral dat laatste leverde steeds problemen op bij Decca. Threshold viel wel onder Decca. Later werd Threshold ook de naam van een LP-winkel en het management van de Moodies. De albums uitgekomen op Threshold zijn gering qua aantal. De nummering hield al snel op; de Moodies keerden terug naar Decca; toch kom je het labelteken nog steeds op hun albums tegen. (nl)

The band formed this label to allow for artistically packaged gatefold covers for their LP releases, and for releasing band members' solo efforts. Threshold was distributed by Decca Records in the UK and by London Records in the United States.
