Ticknock or Tiknock (Irish: Tigh an Chnoic, meaning 'house of the hill') is a townland southwest of Sandyford in Dublin at the northeastern foothills of the Dublin Mountains. The townland of Tiknock is in the electoral division of Dundrum, and has an area of approximately 2.6 square kilometres (1.0 sq mi). Originally a largely rural area at the foot of Three Rock Mountain, a number of housing developments were built in the area (between the townland and the M50 motorway to the north) in the early 21st century.
