Thomas Armitt (1 April 1904 – 15 October 1972) was an English professional rugby league footballer who played in the 1930s and 1940s. He played at representative level for Great Britain, England and Lancashire, and at club level for Swinton and Hull FC, as a hooker, i.e. number 9, during the era of contested scrums. In 1926 he played one match as centre-half in the Football League Third Division North for Accrington Stanley F.C.
