Tropical Storm Lupit, known in the Philippines as Tropical Storm Huaning, was a tropical cyclone that affected Hong Kong and Macau, while also impacting the Guangdong and Fujian provinces in Mainland China, Taiwan and Japan in early-August 2021. The ninth named storm of the 2021 Pacific typhoon season, the system was first tracked as a tropical depression by the Japan Meteorological Agency (JMA) as a tropical depression over Zhanjiang.
