The Tucson Police Department is the law enforcement agency responsible for the city of Tucson, Arizona. Sworn members of the Tucson Police Department are commissioned as peace officers by the Arizona Peace Officers Standards and Training (AZPOST) Board. This authority is valid throughout the State of Arizona at all times and locations.
