Uyghur nationalism is a form of nationalism which asserts that the Uyghur people, an ethnic minority in China, are a distinct nation. Uyghur nationalism promotes the cultural unity of the Uyghur people, either as an independent group or as a regional group within a larger Chinese nation. As the titlular people of Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region and an officially recognized ethnic group of the "56 flowers", the notion of Uyghur nationalism is highly controversial within the Uyghur community, although some diaspora groups advocate the idea of an independent nation-state.

Uyghur nationalism is often linked in varying degrees to the East Turkestan separatist movement, also known as the Uyghur independence movement. Currently, the primary and traditional population base of the Uyghur people is Xinjiang, an autonomous region of China, which is also known as "East Turkestan" by advocates of independence. (en)
