| - VALIS (1981) je sci-fi román amerického spisovatele Philipa K. Dicka. Jedná se o první díl autorovy gnostické „božské" VALIS trilogie (The VALIS Trilogy), Dalšími díly jsou romány Božská invaze a Převtělení Timothyho Archera. První variantu tohoto románu pod názvem VALISystem A napsal Dick již roku 1976. Příběh byl vydán roku 1985 pod názvem Rádio Svobodný Albemut. (cs)

Het boek verscheen in 1981, een jaar voor Dick overleed en maakt deel uit van een trilogie waarvan het laatste boek niet door hemzelf is afgemaakt. VALIS is autobiografische fictie. Dick beschrijft de visioenen die hij echt had en die voor hem een religieus karakter hadden. Hij voert discussies met de protagonist Horselover Fat en levert hem kritiek, hoewel hij al vroeg in het boek stelt dat hij en Horselover één en dezelfde persoon zijn. (nl)

W powieści pisarz zawarł swoją wizję Boga, porusza on także tematy przeznaczenia oraz natury rzeczywistości. Powieść zdobyła Nagrodę im. Kurda Lasswitza w 1985. Valis powstał pod koniec życia Dicka, gdy był on zafascynowany gnozą. Powieść zawiera fragmenty egzegezy napisanej po serii mistycznych snów i wizji, których pisarz doświadczył w 1974. (pl)
