Vayuvuastra is a potential weapon used in Indian epics Mahabharata and Ramayana. This astra has to be obtained from Vayu deva (Wind-god) directly or from the person who already possessed it. If it is obtained from Vayu deva (Wind god); it is in form of a physical weapon. If it is obtained from already possessed warrior, it will be in form of mantra- astra can be invoked by incantations.
