The Vlach Folklore Museum (Greek: Λαογραφικό Μουσείο Βλάχων) is located in the three-story building in the center of Serres, in Greece's Macedonia region. The museum houses an educational wing on the ground floor, a recreation of a typical Aromanian house on the first floor and exhibition space on the second floor. The museum also showcases the lifestyle of Aromanian culture from childbirth through careers and wedding traditions. This includes children's toys and a sarmanitsa (a kind of swing in which the baby falls asleep). A family is shown gathered at dinner time as well as one of the most important moments in the life of an Aromanian (Aromanians are known as "Vlachs" in Greece), the wedding together with the presentation of the dowry.

Το κτίριο αποτελείται από τρία επίπεδα : το ημιυπόγειο που είναι χώρος διδασκαλίας παραδοσιακών χορών, τον πρώτο όροφο (αναπαράσταση οντά βλάχικου σπιτιού με μιντέρια, υφαντά, σοφράδες και τζάκι) και τον δεύτερο όροφο που είναι καθαρά χώρος εκθεμάτων. Σύμφωνα με τη μουσειολογική μελέτη, που έγινε από τον Χρήστο Μπρούφα, το εκτιθέμενο μουσειακό υλικό χωρίζεται σε 7 ενότητες. Η πρώτη ενότητα έχει θέμα τη γέννηση του παιδιού και τη συμμετοχή σε οικιακές ασχολίες. Η δεύτερη, νέος στο κοπάδι και συγκεκριμένα τον έφηβο στην κτηνοτροφία, ενώ η τρίτη έχει θέμα τη νέα κοπέλα στον αργαλειό. Η τέταρτη κατηγορία, αφορά το νυφικό της Βλάχας νύφης και στη διπλανή ενότητα, που αποτελεί συνέχεια της προηγούμενης το θέμα είναι η γαμήλια πομπή με τις παραδοσιακές φορεσιές. Στην έκτη ενότητα εκτίθενται τα ρούχα του γαμπρού και της προίκας. Τέλος η έβδομη ενότητα έχει ως θέμα το δείπνο στο σοφρά. Σκοπός του μουσείου είναι η διατήρηση, η ανάδειξη και η διάδοση του λαϊκού πολιτισμού των Βλάχων της ευρύτερης περιοχής των Σερρών. Με το πέρασμα των χρόνων, έθιμα ξεθωριάζουν, χωριά εγκαταλείπονται, αλλάζει ο τρόπος ζωής και η ενδυμασία, αφήνοντας αχρησιμοποίητα παραδοσιακά εργαλεία που τόσα πρόσφεραν επί αιώνες. Όλα αυτά συλλέγονται και εκτίθενται στο Λαογραφικό Μουσείο των Βλάχων για να μην αγνοείται σε λίγα χρόνια η χρήση τους και ο σκοπός τους. (el)
