| - يضم التنوع النباتي للجزائرنباتات ساحلية، جبلية وأعشاب المناطق شبه الصحراوية والتي تدعم جزء كبير من الحياة البرية. كثير من مخلوقات البرية الجزائرية تعيش على مقربة من المناطق الحضرية. أكثر الحيوانات مشاهدتاً تشمل الخنزير البري، ابن آوى، الغزلان، الفنك والجربوعيات. يوجد بالجزائر مجموعات صغيرة من النمور والفهود والتي نادرا ما تظهر. مجموعة متنوعة من الطيور جعلت البلاد محل جذب لمراقبي الطيور. المكاك البربري هو القرد الأصلي الوحيد، الثعابين والورلان والكثير من الزواحف الأخرى التي يمكن العثور عليها رفقة قوارض المنطقة الشبه جافة بالجزائر. - The wildlife of Algeria is composed of its flora and fauna. Mountainous, chotts, wetlands and grassy desert-like regions all support a wide range of wildlife. The most commonly seen animals include the wild boars, jackals, and gazelles, although it is not uncommon to spot fennecs and jerboas. Leopard and cheetah are seldom seen. A variety of bird species make the country an attraction for bird watchers. Barbary macaques are the sole native monkey. (en)
- La faune d'Algérie regroupe un certain nombre d'espèces animales. Il y a plusieurs parcs protégés en Algérie dont Chréa, Parc national de Belzma, Parc national de l’Ahaggar, Parc national de Chréa, Parc national de Theniet El Had, Parc culturel du Tassili, Parc national de Gouraya, Parc national du Djurdjura, le parc national d'El kala. Aussi, le pays abrite d’énorme variété d'espèces animales et végétales. L'Algérie compte 107 espèces de mammifères dont 47 sont protégées et 30 menacées de disparition. Elle dénombre aussi 336 oiseaux dont 107 sont protégés. (fr)
