The 2008-2009 Boston College Eagles men's ice hockey team represented Boston College in the 2008-2009 college hockey season. The team was coached by Jerry York, '67, his fifteenth season behind the bench at Boston College. The Eagles played their home games at Kelley Rink on the campus of Boston College, and competed in Hockey East. The 2008-09 season was a generally poor one for the Eagles, as the team did not make the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2002, and failed to defend both their Hockey East Tournament and Beanpot titles from the previous year.
