| - El Gran Premi de Qatar de motociclisme 2009 va ser la cursa d'obertura de la temporada 2009 de motociclisme. És un gran premi disputat en llum artificial, ja que es corregué de nit al Losail International Circuit situat a Doha, Qatar entre el 9 i el 13 d'abril del 2009. Les curses de 125cc i 250cc es van poder córrer el diumenge 12 però degut a una forta pluja que va caure damunt del circuit, la cursa de MotoGP es va veure obligada a disputar-se el dilluns 13. (ca)

- The 2009 Qatar motorcycle Grand Prix was the opening round of the 2009 MotoGP championship. It had originally been due to place on the weekend of 10–12 April 2009 at the Losail International Circuit located in Doha, Qatar. However, the meeting was extended to 13 April, as the MotoGP race was postponed to this date, due to adverse weather conditions on 12 April. The problems were compounded by the event being held at night under floodlights for the benefit of European TV viewers. This was the last MotoGP round in which a tobacco brand name (Marlboro) was visible on a bike. (en)
- El Gran Premio de Catar de Motociclismo de 2009 fue la primera prueba del Campeonato del Mundo de Motociclismo de 2009. Tuvo lugar en el fin de semana del 10 al 13 de abril de 2009 en el Circuito Internacional de Losail, situado en Doha, Catar. La carrera de MotoGP fue ganada por Casey Stoner, seguido de Valentino Rossi y Jorge Lorenzo. Héctor Barberá ganó la prueba de 250cc, por delante de Jules Cluzel y Mike Di Meglio. La carrera de 125cc fue ganada por Andrea Iannone, Julián Simón fue segundo y Sandro Cortese tercero. (es)
- Première course du championnat du monde de vitesse moto 2009, le Grand Prix moto du Qatar 2009, est disputé sur le circuit international de Losail, le dimanche 12 avril 2009. A causa delle condizioni climatiche avverse dovute ad un violento acquazzone, l'evento è stato esteso fino al 13 aprile per consentire il recupero della gara della classe MotoGP, annullata a pochi minuti dalla partenza. Inoltre la pioggia ha condizionato anche le gare delle classi 250 e 125, che sono state fatte concludere in anticipo e con un numero di giri ridotto. (it)

- De Grand Prix-wegrace van Qatar 2009 was de eerste race van het wereldkampioenschap wegrace-seizoen 2009. De races werden verreden op 12 en 13 april 2009 op het Losail International Circuit nabij Doha, Qatar. De races werden 's nachts verreden. Het evenement werd geteisterd door hevige regenval. De MotoGP-race werd uitgesteld van zondag naar maandag, aangezien het kort voor de formatieronde zwaar begon te regenen. De organisatoren besloten hierdoor om de race uit te stellen naar maandag. Söndagens tävlingar stördes av regn. 125GP-loppet fick avbrytas efter fyra varv, resultatet räknas efter 4 varv och halva poängen delas ut. 250GP-racet kördes över en förkortad distans, endast 13 varv och MotoGP-loppet sköts upp till måndagen 13 april. - Wyścigi o Motocyklowe Grand Prix Kataru 2009 odbyły się 12 kwietnia 2009 na torze Losail International Circuit. Była to pierwsza eliminacja Motocyklowych Mistrzostw Świata w 2009 roku. Zawodnicy po raz szósty walczyli o wielką nagrodę Kataru. W Polsce przebieg rywalizacji transmitowała stacja komercyjna Sport Klub. (pl)
- Мото Гран-при Катара было 1-й гонкой в чемпионате мира по шоссейно-кольцевым мотогонкам MotoGP 2009 года. Эта гонка прошла с 11 по 13 апреля 2009 года на гоночной трассе международного автодрома Лусаил, Доха,Катар. Из-за обрушившегося на трассу в воскресенье ливня гонка в классе 250 см³ была остановлена после четырёх кругов вместо 18, в классе 250 см³ — после 13 вместо 20, а гонка в классе MotoGP была проведена в понедельник, так как блики прожекторов искусственного освещения, отражавшиеся от влажной трассы, были признаны небезопасными для проведения гонки в тот же вечер.
