The 2021 Buckinghamshire Council election took place on 6 May 2021, alongside nationwide local elections. The election was originally due to take place in May 2020, but was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. A total of 147 councillors were elected, with the 49 wards electing 3 councillors each. In order to secure a majority, a party needed to secure 74 seats. The Conservative Party took an overall majority with 113 seats; the Liberal Democrats came second, with 15 seats.
