The 2022 season is the Philadelphia Eagles' 90th in the National Football League (NFL), their 20th playing home games at Lincoln Financial Field, their second under head coach Nick Sirianni, and seventh under general manager Howie Roseman since his rehiring by the organization (twelfth overall). The team looks to return to the playoffs for the fifth time in six seasons, as well as win the NFC East for the first time since 2019. The Eagles started 8–0 for the first time in franchise history before their winning streak was snapped with a 32–21 upset loss to the Washington Commanders in Week 10. They improved on their 9–8 record from last year after a 40–33 victory over the Green Bay Packers in Week 12.
