Abhibhāvayatana (Sanskrit: Abhibhvāyatana, Pali: Abhibhāyatana), or abhibhāyatana (Sanskrit: Abhibhāyatana, Pali: Abhibhāyātana, "control of perceptions"), is a concept in Buddhism through which meditation is achieved in eight stages by mastering the senses.
