Allan Robert McKinnon (June 2, 1930 – January 29, 2019) was a Massachusetts politician who served as a member of the Massachusetts State Senate from 1971 to 1985, Deputy Secretary of Transportation from 1985 to 1988, and Chairman of the Massachusetts Turnpike Authority from 1988 to 1996. He retired in 1996. After graduating from Tufts in 1955, McKinnon taught history and government in Weymouth and Holbrook, Massachusetts. He served as Weymouth's Public Works Commissioner from 1958 to 1963 and was a member of the town's Board of Assessors from 1963 to 1975.
