Ammonius Grammaticus (/əˈmoʊniəs/; Greek: Ἀμμώνιος Γραμματικός) was a 4th-century Egyptian priest who, after the destruction of the pagan temple at Alexandria (389), fled to Constantinople, where he became the tutor of the ecclesiastical historian Socrates.
