| - Aphrodite's Child byla řecká rocková skupina, založená v roce 1967. Členy skupiny byli Vangelis (klávesy), Demis Roussos (baskytara, zpěv), (bicí, zpěv) a (kytara). - Οι Aphrodite's Child (Παιδί της Αφροδίτης, συντομογραφία AC) ήταν ελληνικό συγκρότημα προοδευτικής ροκ μουσικής που ιδρύθηκε το 1967 από τους Βαγγέλη Παπαθανασίου (πλήκτρα), Ντέμη Ρούσσο (μπάσο κιθάρα και φωνητικά), (ντράμς και φωνητικά), και (κιθάρα). Ο Παπαθανασίου και ο Ρούσσος είχαν ήδη επιτυχία στην Ελλάδα παίζοντας παλιότερα στους Forminx και στους Idols αντίστοιχα. Η πρώτη τους κοινή ηχογράφηση ως AC ήταν στο άλμπουμ In concert and in Studio του Γιώργου Ρωμανού, όπου έπαιξαν τέσσερα κομμάτια και γίναν γνωστοί ως «Ο Βαγγέλης και το συγκρότημά του». - Aphrodite's Child was een Griekse progressieve-rockband. De groep bestond uit Demis Roussos (zang, bas), Vangelis Papathanasiou (toetsen), (drums) en (gitaar), laatstgenoemde alleen lid van de groep voor vertrek uit Griekenland en op het laatste album 666. Aphrodite's Child had in de jaren 1968-1971 een aantal hits in Europa, zoals Rain and tears, I want to live, Marie Jolie, It's five o'clock en Spring summer winter and fall. Nog voor het verschijnen van het conceptalbum 666, vertrok Roussos met Koulouris, Lucas, Harris Chalkitis en Lakis Vlavianos op tournee als Demis from Aphrodite's Child, omdat Vangelis niet meer wilde toeren.
