| - البيس السادس (بالإسبانية: Bajo sexto) هو آلة وترية مكسيكية باثني عشر وترا في ست مسارات مزدوجة. تشبه الآلة البيس الخامس (بالإسبانية: Bajo quinto) الذي به عشر أوتار في خمس مسارات مزدوجة. توضع اليد اليسرى على لوحة الأصابع في العنق، بينما تنقر اليد اليمنى الأوتار. تنقر الأوتار بالأصابع عادة عندما تستعمل الآلة في عزف أنواع موسيقية تتخد فيها دور البيس. تستخدم الريشة في الأنواع الموسيقية المعاصرة اللحنية والتآلفية. - De bajo sexto is een Mexicaanse akoestische basgitaar met twaalf snaren. Het instrument komt vooral voor in het uiterste zuiden van de Verenigde Staten en in het noorden en oosten van Mexico, waar het gebruikt wordt bij de muziekstijl , soms ook wel tex-mex genoemd. Met de opkomst van deze muziekstijl in de jaren 20 werd ook de bajo sexto bekender. De bajo sexto vormt samen met de accordeon de basis van deze muziekstijl.
