Bartolomeo Maria Dal Monte (3 November 1726 – 24 December 1778) was an Italian Roman Catholic priest who exercised his pastoral mission in his home town of Bologna. He established the Opera Pia Mission as part of the missions. He preached in around 62 Italian dioceses and founded his own to prepare diocesan priests for the missions with the emphasis that Jesus Christ was the center of all missionaries as integral to the function of the missions. He emulated the example of Leonardo da Porto Maurizio for his preaching abilities. Dal Monte was beatified on 27 September 1997.

È stato beatificato da papa Giovanni Paolo II nel 1997. Il suo elogio si legge nel Martirologio romano al 24 dicembre. Egli fu promotore di molte missioni nella diocesi di Bologna e fu attivo nella parrocchia arcipretale di Medicina nel 1762 e dal 1770 al 1771 assieme all'amico Mons. Antonio Casalgrandi, arciprete della suddetta parrocchia. Nella chiesa parrocchiale di Medicina è conservato, in una delle cappelle laterali, un ritratto del beato. (it)

Był piątym dzieckiem zamożnych rodziców Orazio Dal Monte i Anny Marii Bassani. Święcenia kapłańskie otrzymał w 1749 roku a w 1751 roku ukończył studia z teologii. Zmarł w opinii świętości mając 52 lata. Papież Benedykt XV ogłosił go czcigodnym 23 stycznia 1921 roku. (pl)
