- Christian de la Mazière (22 August 1922 in Tunis – 15 February 2006) was a journalist and member of the Charlemagne Division of the Waffen-SS. He is known for discussing his role in the documentary The Sorrow and the Pity and also wrote a book titled The Captive Dreamer. At the start of the war, he served in the French Army and remained in the military of Vichy France until 1942. After being discharged, he worked for the fascist newspaper , joining the Charlemagne Division just before the Liberation of Paris in 1944. He was taken prisoner in Pomerania by Polish forces in the Red Army. (en)
- Christian de La Mazière (ur. 22 sierpnia 1922 w Tunisie, zm. 15 lutego 2006) – francuski publicysta, dziennikarz i pisarz, podoficer 33 Dywizji Grenadierów SS Charlemagne podczas II wojny światowej. Był synem oficera, który wchodził w skład Francuskiej Misji Wojskowej w Polsce w 1920 roku, a następnie wykładał w Wyższej Szkole Wojennej w Warszawie. Młodość spędził w tym mieście. Następnie rodzina powróciła do Francji. Christian de La Mazière, po zajęciu ojczyzny przez wojska niemieckie w czerwcu 1940, podjął współpracę dziennikarską z kolaboracyjnym pismem „Le Pays Libre”. Należał też do . W 1943 wstąpił ochotniczo do francuskich oddziałów Waffen-SS. Otrzymał stopień Waffen-Rottenführera der SS. Po przeszkoleniu trafił w 1944 na Pomorze w rejon Szczecinka, gdzie dostał się do polskiej niew (pl)
