According to Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Iran all men from 18 years old or older must go for military service or non-military conscription (Persian: سربازی read "Sarbâzi") in the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran. The length of conscription is between 18 months to 2 years..
