David Francis Griffin (13 May 1905 – 18 February 1944) was a Canadian middle-distance runner. He competed in the men's 1500 metres at the 1928 Summer Olympics. He died serving as a Flying Officer in the Royal Canadian Air Force in World War II, when passenger of a ferry plane from Iceland to Newfoundland which crashed. His grave is located in the Goose Bay Joint Military Cemetery in Labrador.
