Deepsouth is a 2012 American documentary film about the neglected HIV/AIDS crisis in the rural American South. Beneath layers of history, poverty, and soaring HIV infections, three Americans redefine traditional Southern values to create their own solutions to survive. On December 1, 2014, the film was self-distributed and digitally released. Seventy communities across the United States screened deepsouth for World AIDS Day with a 10-hour live-stream with cast/crew.
