Fructuosus of Braga was the Bishop of Dumio and Archbishop of Braga, a great founder of monasteries, who died on 16 April 665. He was the son of a Visigothic dux in the region of Bierzo and at a young age accompanied his father on official trips over his estates. After a period spent as a hermit, he established a monastery at Complutum and became its first abbot.

Fue un monje y obispo godo del siglo VII, venerado como santo. Murió en Braga el 16 de abril de 665. (es) Fruktuozus z Bragi, również Fruktuoz z Bragi, port. Frutuoso de Braga, Frutuoso de Dume (ur. z pocz. VII wieku, zm. ok. 660-670) – opat i biskup Dumio (od 654/656) oraz arcybiskup Bragi (od 656), założyciel wielu klasztorów, dla których napisał reguły: Reguła klasztoru w Alcala (Regula Complutensis) oraz Reguła życia wspólnego (Regula Communis). Reguły te dotyczyły tzw. podwójnych klasztorów, tj. takich do których wstępowały rodziny. Zachowały się również dwa Listy Fruktuoza z Bragi. Jeden z nich adresowany jest do króla Recceswinta, drugi do biskupa Saragossy Brauliona. (pl)
