Fusa Province (総国 or 捄国, Fusa no kuni) was an ancient province of Japan, in the area of Shimōsa ("Lower Fusa") and Kazusa ("Upper Fusa") provinces. At the time of the establishment of Kazusa Province, it also included the southern tip of the Bōsō Peninsula that would later be split off as Awa Province. The ambit of this ancient entity is within Chiba Prefecture and Ibaraki Prefecture. It was sometimes called Sōshū (総州).

De provincie Awa splitste zich later weer af van Kazusa. Sie erstreckte sich über die Bōsō-Halbinsel der heutigen Präfektur Chiba und dem südlichen Streifen der Präfektur Ibaraki. Nach der 807 kompilierten Chronik Kogoshūi war fusa eine bereits damals veraltete Bezeichnung für „Hanf“ (modern asa) und verweist auf die hier zur Kleidungsherstellung für den Kaiserhof kultivierten Hanfpflanzen. Der Name Fusa findet sich heute noch indirekt in dem der Bōsō-Halbinsel, da Bōsō (房総) die sinojapanische Lesung des zweiten Schriftzeichens von Awa und des von Fusa ist. (de)
