| - El Faro Genovés (en rumano, Farul Genovez) es un faro y monumento histórico situado en la ciudad de Constanza, detrás de un grupo de estatuas que tiene en su centro el busto de Mihai Eminescu, esculpido por . Está localizado cerca del Casino Constanța. Tiene una altura total de 8 metros. La estructura de faro es rectangular desde su base hasta aproximadamente tres metros y medio, y es octogonal hasta la parte superior. El interior del faro es cilíndrico, con una escalera de piedra en espiral. La estructura se alza en un pedestal y la base consta de dos pasos, y está acabado en la parte superior con los paréntesis que apoyan el alero. El faro original fue construido alrededor del año 1300 por los genoveses que comerciaban en el puerto de la ciudad.La luz del faro llegaba aproximadamente dos millas náuticas mar adentro desde el puerto de Constanza. Fue reconstruido entre 1858-1960 por el ingeniero franco-armenio , por orden de la compañía británica, para conmemorar a los mercaderes genoveses que habían establecido una comunidad de comercio marítima floreciente. - The Genoese Lighthouse (Romanian: Farul Genovez) is a lighthouse and historic monument situated on the waterfront of the city of Constanța, Romania behind a group of statues which has in its center the bust of Mihai Eminescu, sculpted by Oscar Han. It is located near Constanța Casino. The lighthouse stands approximately eight meters high and is rectangular at its base to a height of about three and a half meters, and is octagonal above that. The interior of the lighthouse is cylindrical, with a spiral staircase in stone. The structure itself stands upon a pedestal base consisting of two steps, and is finished at the top with brackets supporting the eaves, upon which the metal housing of the lantern room also forms the roof. The original lighthouse was built around 1300 by the Genoese who traded at the port, to guide ships at sea from a range of about two nautical miles out to the small port of Constanța. It was rebuilt between 1858-1860 by French-Armenian engineer Artin Aslan, by order of the British-owned Company, to honor the Genoese merchants who established a flourishing sea trade community. (en)
