Hagopdjan de Deritchan (in French sources; Acoljean de Richtan; b. ?, New Julfa – d. 25 August 1726, Marseille) born as Hakobjan Arhitchanents, was the first Safavid consul in Marseille, from 1715 until his death. He replaced the ambassador Mohammad Reza Beg (in French sources; Méhémet Riza Beg) as the principal Safavid diplomat in France during the reign of king Sultan Husayn (1694-1722).

- Hagopdjan de Deritchan, Acoljean de Richtan, ou de son nom arménien Hakobjan Arhitchanents (La Nouvelle-Djoulfa, ? - Marseille, 25 août 1726 ou 2 février 1726), était un riche marchand arménien, qui fut le premier consul de Perse à Marseille de 1715 à sa mort. Sa mission consistait à y défendre les intérêts des marchands arméniens d'obédience persane. Les Français ont eu beaucoup de mal à écrire son nom. Ils l'ont appelé Acoljean de Ritchan, Agop Jean ou encore Agobian. Sur un document conservé à la Chambre de commerce de Marseille, on peut voir sa signature en arménien : Hagopdjan di Deritchan c'est-à-dire Hagopdjan fils de Deritchan. Hagopdjan est une forme dérivée du prénom Hagop, fréquemment utilisé à cette époque parmi les Arméniens de Perse. Le nom de son père, Deritchan, semble assez rare. Quant à la préposition « di », qui indique ici la filiation, elle est empruntée à l'italien, selon un usage fréquent chez les marchands arméniens des XVIIe et XVIIIe siècles. (fr)
