Hamam al-Sammara (Arabic: حمام السمرا, also spelled Hamaam as-Sumara; transliteration: "the Bath of the Samaritans" or "the Brown Bath") is the only active Turkish bath remaining in Gaza, located in the Zeitoun Quarter of the Old City. It is situated 3 meters (9.8 ft) below street level. It is currently owned by Salim Abdullah al-Wazeer.

Aunque se rumorea que se remontan a tiempos pre-islámicos en Gaza, una placa en el vestíbulo de la casa de baños proclama que Hamam al- Samarra fue restaurada en 1320 por el gobernador mameluco de la ciudad Sanjar al- Jawli. Es el único casa de baños turca en Gaza, de las cinco originales, que aún sigue funcionando. Según relató Theodore E.
