Estudió Filosofía en la Universidad de Buenos Aires, y colaboró además con el suplemento cultural del diario El País. En 2017 ganó el Premio Iberoamericano de Narrativa Manuel Rojas. In Italia ha pubblicato nel 2015 il racconto lungo Traslochi. Ha vinto il Premio Konex, Diploma al Mérito due volte, "Cuento: quinquenio 1999-2003" e "Cuento: quinquenio 2004-2008" (it) Hebe Uhart (Moreno,02 de dezembro 1936 — Buenos Aires, 11 de outubro de 2018) foi uma escritora argentina. Começou a publicar seus contos na década de 1960. Com uma carreira discreta, marcada por uma opção pela narrativa curta e sempre publicando por editoras de pequeno porte, foi mesmo assim considerada por Rodolfo Fogwill como a melhor escritora da Argentina.
