- Hermann Johann Heinrich Behrends, född 11 maj 1907 i Rüstringen, död 4 december 1948 i Belgrad, var en tysk jurist och SS-general. Behrends var ställföreträdande chef för Hauptamt Volksdeutsche Mittelstelle, Tredje rikets centralorgan för folktyskarnas välfärd. I slutet av andra världskriget var han Höhere SS- und Polizeiführer (Högre SS- och polisbefälhavare) för Serbien, Sandžak och Montenegro. Efter andra världskriget utlämnades Behrends till Jugoslavien och avrättades för krigsförbrytelser. (sv)

- هيرمان يوهان هاينريش بهرندز (11 مايو 1907 - 4 ديسمبر 1948) عضوًا في الحزب النازي ومسؤولًا في القوات الخاصة برتبة ملازم أول ( جروبنفهر ). وُلد في روستينغن، أولدنبورغ، ابن أحد النزلين الإقليميين، وتلقى شهادة الدكتوراه في القانون من جامعة ماربورغ، لكنه كافح من أجل إيجاد عمل في فايمار ألمانيا. انضم إلى الحزب النازي في يناير 1932 والأس أس في الشهر التالي. مع عدم وجود خبرة عسكرية، تعثر في البداية، لكنه سرعان ما جذب انتباه راينهارد هايدريش، الذي يقدر الخبرة الأكاديمية، وتم نقله إلى الشرطة الأمنية الألمانية (SD). تم إعدامه في بلغراد في 4 ديسمبر 1948. - Hermann Johann Heinrich Behrends (11 May 1907 – 4 December 1948) was a Nazi Party member and SS official with the rank of lieutenant general (Gruppenführer). Born in Rüstringen, Oldenburg, the son of a provincial innkeeper, he was educated to doctorate level in law at Marburg University but struggled to find employment in an economically depressed Weimar Germany. He joined the Nazi Party in January 1932 and the SS the following month. With no military experience he initially floundered but soon attracted the attentions of Reinhard Heydrich, who valued academic expertise, and he was transferred to the Sicherheitsdienst (SD). (en)
