- Human Be-In (lub A Gathering of the Tribes for Human Be-in) – happening zorganizowany w sobotę 14 stycznia 1967 roku w Golden Gate Park w San Francisco, w proteście przeciwko delegalizacji LSD oraz w celu wspólnego zjednoczenia aktywistów politycznych z University of California w Berkeley i hippisów z dzielnicy Haight-Ashbury. W happeningu wzięło udział około 25000 ludzi. Uznawane jest za wydarzenie przełomowe dla ruchu hippisowskiego. Happening promował m.in. plakat zaprojektowany przez , przedstawiający Indian (stanowiących dla hippisów symbol niewinności Ameryki). (pl)

De naam werd ontleend aan de cover van de krant de San Francisco Oracle die "A Gathering of the Tribes for a Human Be-In” aankondigde bedoeld om de aan de ene kant meer behoudende krachten tegen de oorlog in Vietnam en de radicalere groeperingen te verenigen.
