| - The International Film Festival and Forum on Human Rights (FIFDH) is one of the most important international events dedicated to cinema and human rights, located in the heart of Geneva, "international capital of human rights". The inspiration and impetus behind the International Film Festival and Forum on Human Rights came from human rights defenders active in NGO's, filmmakers, media representatives and the University of Geneva.The FIFDH coincides with the UN Human Rights Council's main session. This simultaneous event makes the Festival a Free Platform for discussion and debates on a wide variety of topics concerning human rights.It was created by and co-founded by Yäel Reinharz Hazan, Pierre Hazan and Isabelle Gattiker in November 2002. - Het International Film Festival and Forum on Human Rights (Internationaal Filmfestival en Mensenrechtenforum, FIFDH) is een van de belangrijkste internationale evenementen over het thema film en mensenrechten. Het festival is niet toevallig gevestigd in Genève, de “hoofdstad van de Rechten van de Mens”. Bovendien wordt het festival jaarlijks georganiseerd in de maand maart, in dezelfde periode als de Mensenrechtenraad van de Verenigde Naties. Het festival werd in 2003 opgericht door Léo Kanenman. - Le Festival du film et forum international sur les droits humains (FIFDH) est l'un des événements les plus importants dédiés au cinéma et aux droits humains. Véritable plateforme dédiée au cinéma engagé, le FIFDH se tient chaque année au mois de mars au coeur de Genève, la capitale des droits humains, en parallèle avec la session principale du Conseil des droits de l'homme de l'ONU. Durant 10 jours, le Festival propose des films suivis de débats qui abordent et dénoncent des violations contre les droits humains partout où elles se produisent. Activistes, ONG, professeur·es, diplomates, artistes, militant·es, journalistes et grand public sont invité·es à se rassembler et confronter leurs points de vue dans ce lieu unique. - Международный кинофестиваль и Форум по правам человека (англ. International Film Festival and Forum on Human Rights) — одно из важнейших международных мероприятий, посвященных кино и правам человека, расположенное в Женеве, «международной столицы прав человека». Вдохновением и стимулом к организации Международного кинофестиваля и Форума по правам человека выступили правозащитники, работающие в НПО, создатели фильмов, представители средств массовой информации и Женевского университета. МКФПЧ совпадает с основной сессией Совета ООН по правам человека. Проведение в то же время делает фестиваль бесплатной площадкой для дискуссий и дебатов по широкому кругу тем, касающихся прав человека.
