John Vance Langmore AM (born 3 September 1939) is an Australian academic and politician. He was a member of the Australian House of Representatives from 1984 to 1996. He studied for a Bachelor of Commerce degree at the University of Melbourne, a Master of Economics degree from Monash University, and a Diploma of Developmental Economics from the University of Cambridge. He then worked as a lecturer in economics at the University of Papua New Guinea from 1969 to 1973. He worked for Ralph Willis in 1983 and 1984 when Willis was the Minister for Employment and Industrial Relations under Prime Minister Bob Hawke.
