Joseph Raya (Arabic: يوسف رايا) (15 August 1916 – 10 June 2005) was a Lebanese-born Melkite Catholic archbishop, theologian, civil rights advocate. He served as metropolitan of Akko, Haifa, Nazareth and All Galilee from 1968 until 1974 and was particularly known for his commitment to seeking reconciliation between Christians, Jews and Muslims. He was also a leading advocate of celebrating the Divine Liturgy in vernacular languages.

Er wurde damit Nachfolger des zum Patriarchen von Antiochien ernannten Maximos V. Hakim. Er war nicht nur Theologe, sondern auch Bürgerrechtler und Autor. Als Erzbischof war er für sein Engagement zur Aussöhnung zwischen Christen und Juden und einem interreligiösem Dialog bekannt. Er war ein leidenschaftlicher Verfechter der Liturgie in den Landessprachen. (de)
