Kerber (Serbian Cyrillic: Кербер, lit. 'Cerberus') is a Serbian and Yugoslav hard rock band formed in Niš in 1981. The mainstay members of Kerber are vocalist Goran Šepa "Gale", guitarist Tomislav "Tomica" Nikolić and keyboardist Branislav "Bane" Božinović. The band's debut album, released in 1983, brought them nationwide popularity. Throughout the 1980s Kerber was one of the top acts of the Yugoslav hard rock scene, with a number of their songs becoming hits, especially their power ballads with poetic lyrics written by lyricist Duško Arsenijević. Their sound has evolved from heavy rock on their debut album towards melodic hard rock on their other 1980s releases.
