This article is a list of seasons completed by the Washington Commanders of the National Football League (NFL). The list documents the season-by-season records of them from 1932 to present, including postseason records, and league awards for individual players or head coaches. The team was founded as the Boston Braves, being named after the local baseball franchise. The team changed its name the following year to the Redskins and moved to Washington, D.C. in 1937. In 2020, the team retired the Redskins name after longstanding controversies surrounding it and briefly became the Washington Football Team, before choosing the Washington Commanders as their permanent name in 2022.
