| - Verschollene Kosmonauten (auch: verlorene Kosmonauten) ist eine Verschwörungstheorie über Mitarbeiter des sowjetischen Weltraumprogramms, deren Schicksal aus propagandistischen Gründen mutmaßlich verschleiert wurde. Vermeintlich berichtete die Sowjetunion nur über erfolgreiche Raumflüge wie den von Juri Gagarin, nicht aber über Rückschläge, bei denen sowjetische Kosmonauten im Weltraum verschollen seien oder ihre Flüge aus anderen Gründen geheim gehalten worden seien. Keine der Theorien um verschollene Kosmonauten konnte ausreichend belegt werden, weshalb sie als Verschwörungstheorie gelten. Die Sowjetunion hat nur die vier verunglückten Kosmonauten von Sojus 1 im Jahr 1967 und Sojus 11 im Jahr 1971 als Opfer ihres Raumfahrtprogramms anerkannt. (de)

Proponents of the Lost Cosmonauts theory argue that the Soviet Union attempted to launch human spaceflights before Yuri Gagarin's first spaceflight, and that cosmonauts onboard died in those attempts. - 사라진 소련 우주비행사(Lost Cosmonauts)란 유리 가가린 이전에도 우주로 나갔던 소련 우주비행사들이 있으나, 소련 및 그 후신인 러시아에서는 그 존재를 인정하지 않는다는 음모론이다. 가가린의 첫 유인우주비행 이전에 소련은 두 차례 이상의 우주비행을 계획하였으며, 그 과정에서 최소 두 명의 우주비행사가 희생됐다는 것이다. 또 우주에 갔다온 뒤 경로에서 이탈해 중국에 불시착했고, 당국에 의해 포로로 잡혔다 풀려났다고 하는 사라진 우주비행사도 있다. 소련 당국은 냉전이 고조되던 시기에 나쁜 여론을 일으킬 것을 방지하기 위해 이와 같은 사실을 숨겼다는 이야기다.
