The NATO Days in Ostrava & Czech Air Force Days (Czech: Dny NATO v Ostravě & Dny Vzdušných sil AČR) are the largest air, army and security show in Europe. It aims to present to the general public the wide spectrum of the resources and the capabilities of the Czech Republic and its allies in the field of security provision. NATO Days in Ostrava consist of meetings, presentations, workshops and displays of military and security equipment culminating in a main event held at Leoš Janáček Airport Ostrava, near Ostrava, Czech Republic.

Nach dem NATO-Beitritt Tschechiens im Jahr 1999 wurden die NATO-Tage zunächst ab 2001 in der Stadt Ostrava, seit 2003 auf dem nahegelegenen Flughafen Ostrava in Mošnov veranstaltet. Seit 2010 finden im Rahmen der NATO Days parallel die Tage der tschechischen Luftwaffe statt. Das zweitägige Hauptprogramm wird von einigen Veranstaltungen begleitet, unter anderem auf dem Gelände der Witkowitzer Eisenwerke. Neben NATO-Mitgliedstaaten nehmen auch Nichtmitglieder an den NATO-Tagen teil, darunter beispielsweise Saudi-Arabien (2017), die Schweiz (2016, 2012) oder Österreich (seit 2010). Von den 29 Mitgliedstaaten haben bis einschließlich 2017 Island, Luxemburg, Portugal, Bulgarien, Albanien, Kroatien und Montenegro noch nie an den NATO-Tagen teilgenommen. (de)

NATO Days in Ostrava consist of meetings, presentations, workshops and displays of military and security equipment culminating in a main event held at Leoš Janáček Airport Ostrava, near Ostrava, Czech Republic. During the event there is an opportunity to see military hardware, police and rescue technology, dynamic shows of special units training, air displays and the chance to see different kinds of equipment used by units. This is the only event that brings the latest technology used by soldiers, fire fighters, policemen, customs officers, the prison service, the municipal police and other elite units in one location. The organizers of NATO Days in Ostrava are the Jagello 2000 Association, the Joint Forces Headquarters of the Armed Forces of the Czech Republic, the Fire Rescue Brigade of the Moravian-Silesian Region, the Police of the Czech Republic, the Emergency Rescue Service of the Moravian-Silesian Region, and Leoš Janáček Airport Ostrava. W 2021 roku po raz pierwszy impreza była biletowana z ograniczoną liczbą widzów, co spowodowane było obostrzeniami związanymi z pandemią COVID-19. Można na niej zobaczyć sprzęt wojskowy, policyjny i ratowniczy. Odbywają się dynamiczne pokazy powietrzne i naziemne jednostek wojskowych i specjalnych oraz pokazy i akrobacje lotnicze. Podczas Dni Nato swoje wyposażenie i umiejętności prezentują również strażacy, policjanci, celnicy, Służba Więzienna, Straż Miejska i jednostki elitarne z krajów NATO oraz państw współpracujących z nim. W 2016 roku swoje reprezentacje wysłało 21 krajów. Dni NATO organizowane są od 2001 roku. Pierwotnie była to niewielka impreza w której uczestniczyło 10 tys. widzów. Szacuje się, że w 2016 roku pokazy obejrzało ponad 130 tys. osób. (pl)
