Orientales omnes Ecclesias (December 23, 1945) is an encyclical of Pope Pius XII to the faithful of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church. It commemorates the three hundred and fiftieth anniversary of the Union of Brest.

Em sua encíclica, o papa Pio XII explica que muitas provações e perseguições ocorreram nos últimos 350 anos, mas que a Igreja Católica Grega da Ucrânia sempre saiu forte. * Bevor es 1596 in Brest zur Kirchenunion von Brest kam, waren aber lange und schwierige Verhandlungen notwendig. Zunächst wurde am 22. Juni 1595 von allen Bischöfen der ruthenischen Kirche eine „Absichtserklärung über die Vereinigung“ unterzeichnet, die im September 1595 von Cyril Terletski (Bischof von Lutsk) und Hypatius Pociei (Bischof von Wladimir) in einer päpstlichen Audienz in Rom übergeben wurde.
* Papst Klemens VIII. übernahm dieses Dokument und übergab es der päpstlichen Kurie zur Prüfung. Am 23. Dezember 1595, dem eigentlichen Tag der Vereinigung, legten die anwesenden Bischöfe ihren zustimmenden Bericht vor und stellvertretend für alle Bischöfe der ruthenischen Kirche legten deren Abgesandte den Treueeid zum Papst ab. Dieses Ereignis wurde mit der Apostolischen Konstitution „Dominus et laudabilis nimis“ festgeschrieben und verkündet. (de)
- Orientales omnes Ecclesias (December 23, 1945) is an encyclical of Pope Pius XII to the faithful of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church. It commemorates the three hundred and fiftieth anniversary of the Union of Brest. In his encyclical, Pope Pius XII explains that many trials and persecutions took place in the last three hundred and fifty years, but that the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church always came out strong. He reminds of the many favours and assistances the Church received from Rome and how his papal predecessors always supported the independent culture and rite of the Oriental Church. In the last part of the encyclical, he addresses the grievances facing the Ukrainians in 1945. Aware of the persecution of the faithful and expecting even more, he writes:
