Patton Glacier (78°16′S 85°25′W / 78.267°S 85.417°W) is a broad tributary glacier in the Sentinel Range, Ellsworth Mountains. It drains the east slope of the main ridge between Mounts Ostenso and Tyree, flows east-northeastwards between Evans Peak and Versinikia Peak on the north and Mount Bearskin on the south, and enters Ellen Glacier northeast of Zalmoxis Peak and southeast of Mount Jumper.

| - Der Patton-Gletscher ist ein breiter Gletscher im westantarktischen Ellsworthland. Er fließt von den Osthängen des Hauptkamms der Sentinel Range des Ellsworthgebirges zwischen Mount Ostenso und Mount Tyree nach Osten zum Ellen-Gletscher. Der United States Geological Survey kartierte ihn anhand eigener Vermessungen und mithilfe von Luftaufnahmen der United States Navy zwischen 1957 und 1959. Das Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names benannte ihn 1961 nach (1925–1973) von der United States Air Force, der am 26. November 1956 als erster Mensch mit dem Fallschirm am geographischen Südpol landete und überdies bedeutende Beiträge bei der Leitung von Luftabwürfen von Versorgungsgütern aus Maschinen des Typs Douglas C-124 Globemaster II zur Errichtung der Südpolstation leistete. It was named by Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names (US-ACAN) for Sgt. , United States Air Force (USAF), the first to parachute land at the South Pole, November 26, 1956. He gave valuable assistance on the ground in directing the air drops from Globemaster aircraft, used in transporting supplies to establish the South Pole Station. (en)
