Sir Stanley Paul Chambers KBE CB CIE Sir Stanley Paul Chambers (2 April 1904 – 23 December 1981) was a British civil servant and industrialist and Chairman of ICI. He was born in London and educated at the City of London School before going up to study economics at the London School of Economics. He was President of the Royal Statistical Society from 1964 to 1965. The society's Chambers Medal, awarded every three years, is named after him. He was Pro-Chancellor of the University of Kent from 1971 to 1977. He married twice and had two children and a stepchild..
