| - Paul Pellisson (Besiers, 30 d'octubre de 1624 — París, 7 de febrer de 1693) va ser un escriptor i historiador occità en llengua francesa. Va néixer a Besiers en una família calvinista i va estudiar dret a Tolosa. Va ser secretari del ministre de finances Nicolas Fouquet i, quan aquest va caure en desgràcia, va ser empresonat a la presó de La Bastille durant cinc anys. A la sortida va buscar el favor reial i es va convertir en l'historiador de Lluís XIV. Va escriure tractats de teologia com el Traité de l'Eucharistie (1694). (ca)

- Paul Pellisson (30 October 1624 – 7 February 1693) was a French author. Pellisson was born in Béziers, of a distinguished Calvinist family. He studied law at Toulouse, and practised at the bar of Castres. Going to Paris with letters of introduction to Valentin Conrart, a fellow Calvinist, he was introduced to the members of the Académie française. Pellisson undertook to be their historian, and in 1653 published a Relation contenant l'histoire de l’Académie française. He was rewarded with a promise of the next vacant place and permission to be present at their meetings. (en)
