The Pulheim Gophers are a baseball and softball section of the sports club Pulheimer SC from Pulheim, North Rhine-Westphalia. The club was founded in 1989, and the first men's team was promoted to the first division of the Baseball Bundesliga in 2008, having previously played in the first division for the 2001, 2002 and 2004 seasons. After finishing in last place with a 6–18 record in 2009, the team improved to 11–17 in 2010, finishing fifth and only one game out of a playoff spot.

Ende der Saison 2011 musste sie in die Verbandsliga zwangsabsteigen, weil zahlreiche Leistungsträger abgewandert waren, u. a. Pitcher Markus Solbach, der einen Vertrag bei den Minnesota Twins in der MLB unterschrieb. Der größte Erfolg der Gophers war 2001 das Erreichen der Playoffs im Vorfeld der Deutschen Meisterschaft. Sie waren mit dieser Leistung der erfolgreichste Aufsteiger in der Geschichte der Baseball-Bundesliga. Die Gophers betreiben außerdem eine Softballmannschaft, die 2014 in der Landesliga vertreten war. 2015 konnte keine Softballmannschaft mehr gemeldet werden, dafür ab 2017 aber wieder eine Jugendmannschaft. Weiterhin ist eine Herrenmannschaft in der Landesliga gemeldet. (de)
