Roberta Marinelli is an oceanographer who started her position as Dean of the College of Earth, Ocean and Atmospheric Sciences at Oregon State University in 2016. In honor of her service to the United States Antarctic program, in the McMurdo Dry Valleys of Antarctica was named after Marinelli in 2011.
