Siegfried Linkwitz (November 23, 1935 – September 11, 2018) was a German American engineer who was noted co-inventor of the Linkwitz–Riley filter along with . Nach ihm wurde der sog. Linkwitz-Riley-Filter benannt, den er mit Russ Riley erarbeitet hat. Linkwitz hat zu dem Thema Dipol-Lautsprecher wegweisende Neuerungen publiziert. Im Bereich des Lautsprecherselbstbaus war Linkwitz aktiv. Er hatte Elektrotechnik von 1955 bis 1961 an der TU Darmstadt und von 1961 bis 1962 an der Stanford University studiert.
