Social Democrats, USA (SDUSA) is a small political association of social democrats founded in 1972. The Socialist Party of America (SPA) had stopped running independent presidential candidates and consequently the term "party" in the SPA's name had confused the public. Replacing the socialist label with "social democrats", was meant to disassociate the ideology of SDUSA with that of the Soviet Union.

Es va crear el 30 de desembre de 1972 arran d'una escissió del Partit Socialista d'Amèrica, del qual en formava l'ala dreta. El nou partit fou dirigit per Bayard Rustin, un activista emblemàtic del moviment pels drets civils i antic col·laborador de Martin Luther King. L'organització, molt profundament anticomunista, es conforma com un grup de pressió que intenta, sense èxit, influir en els líders sindicals. Va ser membre de la Internacional Socialista de 1973 a 2005. (ca) Sociaux-démocrates, USA (en anglais : Social Democrats, USA) est un parti politique américain. Il est créé le 30 décembre 1972 à la suite d'une scission du Parti socialiste d'Amérique, dont il constituait l'aile droite. Le nouveau parti est alors dirigé par Bayard Rustin, un militant emblématique du mouvement des droits civiques et ancien proche de Martin Luther King. Très profondément anticommuniste, l'organisation se contente d’être un groupe de pression qui essaie, sans succès, d’influencer les directions syndicales. Il est membre de l'Internationale socialiste de 1973 à 2005. (fr) アメリカ合衆国社会民主主義者（アメリカがっしゅうこくしゃかいみんしゅしゅぎしゃ、Social Democrats USA）はアメリカの社会民主主義を掲げる政党もしくは政治団体。 1972年から73年にかけてアメリカ社会党が3分裂した際、党内右派の反共主義的な知識人や労働運動活動家によって形成された。社会民主主義を掲げてはいたが、特に外交・安全保障政策においては反共主義の立場からタカ派的な主張が目立ち、民主党員が多いといわれていたが実際には共和党とも関係があった。冷戦期においてはソ連や共産圏への強硬姿勢を支持し、ロナルド・レーガン大統領政権下では全米民主主義基金（NED）の活動に加わったメンバーもいる。また、その外交姿勢は内政干渉も辞さないもので、ポーランドの独立自主管理労働組合「連帯」やイスラエルを強く支持し、イラク戦争にも（「友党」視していたトニー・ブレアのイギリス労働党政権が加わったこともあって）支持を惜しまなかった。アメリカの新保守主義（俗にいうネオコン）に思想的影響を与えたとの説もある。実際、3つに分かれた旧アメリカ社会党のなかでもトロツキストから反ソ連の姿勢に転じたの流れを一番強く引いている。 2005年に長らく指導者だったが死去すると活動がなくなり、2007年には加盟していた社会主義インターナショナルから資格消滅の判断を受けた。 (ja) 미국 사회민주주의자들 또는 사회민주주의자들, 미국(영어: Social Democrats, USA (SDUSA))은 미국의 사회민주주의 정치조직이다. 미국 사회당의 후신정당 중 하나이다.
