Takuzu, also known as Binairo, is a logic puzzle involving placement of two symbols, often 1s and 0s, on a rectangular grid. The objective is to fill the grid with 1s and 0s, where there is an equal number of 1s and 0s in each row and column and no more than two of either number adjacent to each other. Additionally, there can be no identical rows or columns. Similar to Sudoku, each puzzle begins with several squares in the grid already filled.

De meeste grids bestaat uit 10 × 10 vakjes, maar er komen ook 4×4, 6×6, 8×8, 12×12, 14×14 en 16×16 grids voor. Het doel is om een grid te vullen met enen en nullen. In een gegeven puzzel zijn reeds een aantal vakjes ingevuld. Men moet de resterende vakjes invullen waarbij men de volgende regels in acht moet nemen:

Het populairwetenschappelijk maandblad Eos publiceert elke maand twee bineros. De Nederlandse uitgeverij Sanders Puzzelboeken publiceert de gespecialiseerde titels Binairo kampioen en Binairo pocket. In België worden binaire puzzelboeken gepubliceerd door o.a. uitgeverij De Puzzelaar, met uitgaven als Binaire XS en VTM Binaire. Binaire puzzels zijn online te vinden op verschillende websites.
