(de)
  • Vassallaggi Siziliako historiaurreko gune arkeologiko bat da, Brontze Arokoa, izen bereko muinoan kokatua, K.a. VII. mendearen ondoren loraldi bat izan zuena frourion (gotorlekua) bezala. Tokia, haranaren erdian dago, itsas mailatik 704 metrora, San Cataldotik gertu, Caltanissettako probintzian, Siziliako hegoaldeko kostaldearen eta uhartearen iparraldeko zatiaren arteko komunikaziorako toki estrategiko batean. IE-HM orientazioa du eta SS 122 San Cataldo-Serradifalcorekin paraleloan hedatzen da.Gune arkeologiko hau, denborarekin, elkarrengandik oso gertu zeuden bost muino txikitan garatu zen. Siziliako erdialdeko greziar finkapen baten adibide garrantzitsu bat da, dirudienez, greziar forma kultural gero eta gehiago bereganatu zituelako Rodastik eta Kretatik, Akragasen zehar, iritsi ziren greziarren ondorioz. Tokiaren kokapena funtsezkoa zen Salso ibaiaren erdiko harana kontrolatzeko. Tokia, XIX. mendean jada ezaguna, 1905etik aurrera induskatu zen. Indusketek 1960ko hamarkadara arte jarraitu zuten, emaitza bikainak lortuz, Brontze Arotik K.a. I. mendera arte giza bizileku nabarmenak aurkitu ziren. Harresi, etxe, kale, hilobi eta toki erlijiosoen hondakinek komunitate oparo baten ebidentzia ematen dute. Artikulu asko, batzuk ondo kontserbatuak, Siziliako zenbait museotan erakusten dira orain. It has a NE-SW orientation and stretches along in parallel with the San Cataldo-Serradifalco. This archaeological site developed over time on five small hills in close proximity to one another. It represents an important example of a Greek settlement in central Sicily, having apparently taken on increasing amounts of Greek cultural forms as a result of Greek people arriving from Rhodes and Crete, via Akragas. The site's position is critical for controlling the central Salso river valley. The site, known already in the 19th century, only became the subject of excavation from 1905. These excavations continued until the 1960s and produced brilliant results, including the discovery of considerable evidence for human habitation from the Bronze Age until the first centuries CE. Remains of walls, houses, streets, tombs and religious sites provide evidence of a prosperous community. Numerous items, some perfectly preserved, are now on display in various museums throughout Sicily. (en)
