Vice Admiral Walter Black Massenburg (born 1949) is a retired US Navy admiral and former commander of the Naval Air Systems Command in Patuxent River, Maryland. He is a 1970 graduate of Washington and Jefferson College, where he majored in physics. Massenburg's personal decorations include the Navy Distinguished Service Medal, Legion of Merit with two Gold Stars, the Defense Meritorious Service Medal, the Meritorious Service Medal, the Navy Commendation Medal with two Gold Stars and numerous campaign and service awards.
